Robert L. Perez was raised in the Rio Grande Valley. He went to Harlingen High School and then proudly severed in the Texas National Guard. Subsequently, Mr. Perez graduated from St. Mary’s University in 2002 and earned his law degree at St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2005. While in law school, he earned the Marianist-Green award for clinical excellence for his representation of clients during law school; an award only given out to one law student per year.
Before joining Loncar Lyon Jenkins, Mr. Perez worked in civil litigation firms in the Rio Grande Valley from 2005 – 2016. He primarily represented large insurance company and corporations during that time. Currently, he proudly devotes his entire practice to representing the injured in personal injury cases. He has tried over 25 cases to a jury verdict in Cameron and Hidalgo County including medical malpractice, auto accidents, intentional tort, as well as fraud cases. He is admitted to practice before all Texas Courts as well as the United States District Courts in the Southern District of Texas.
Mr. Perez is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Cameron County Bar Association, and Hidalgo County Bar Association. When not advocating for the injured, he enjoys fishing, running, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
