William W. “Bill” Johnston


Originally from Dallas, Texas, Bill attended Texas A&M University where he studied Business Management.. He then graduated from the Baylor University School of Law.  Bill is a former Assistant United States Attorney who served with the U.S. Department of Justice for 14 years. Bill prosecuted the Branch Davidian Cult case and the federal aspect of the Kenneth McDuff serial killer case, along with 3 “Nation’s Top 15” fugitive cases.  Texas Monthly magazine named Bill one of the “20 Most Interesting and Influential Texans.”

Bill was a Captain in the United States Army Reserve.  Bill’s family came to Dallas in 1841 and were one of the founding families of the city.

Medical malpractice defense and civil rights cases are among his prior work experiences.
