Overview:
Ashley was born and raised in McAllen, Texas. Always knowing she wanted to be an attorney upon graduating from high school, Ashley worked and interned in various positions in the legal industry while attending undergrad. She triple-majored in English, Philosophy, and Political Science at the University of Texas-Pan American (now known as University of Texas Rio Grande Valley) in 2009. Ashley obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Texas Southern University and became licensed to practice law in Texas in 2014.
Before joining Loncar, Lyons & Jenkins in June 2020, Ashley represented numerous insurance companies as an aggressive defense attorney in various auto and commercial cases. After several years of practicing law in Houston, Beaumont, and San Antonio, Ashley moved back to McAllen, Texas to be closer to family and to make a difference for the people in her community. Ashley isn’t shy about being in a court room or taking your case to trial if necessary, she has been involved in numerous criminal and civil trials as both a law student and an attorney.
Currently a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Bar College, Hidalgo County Bar Association, and Cameron County Bar Association, Ashley is admitted to practice in all Texas Courts and before the United States District Court in the Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas. Ashley has been a certified mediator in both family and civil cases since 2013.
She now utilizes her vast education, experience, knowledge, and skills, to provide the best legal representation possible for clients. When Ashley isn’t advocating for the injured, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and loves cooking and baking.
