Overview:
Mattie was born in Virginia but raised in Oklahoma. There, she went to OU (the University of Oklahoma) for her undergrad and majored in philosophy before returning to OU for law school. Ever since she was a kid, Mattie wanted to be an attorney just like her grandfather. Mattie knew she wanted to help people hurt in accidents after losing her grandmother in a car accident when she was just 15 and seeing firsthand what the insurance company did to her family. She’s now had over 20 jury trials and loves being in the courtroom. Mattie is a mom to 4, married, with 4 dogs and 150 houseplants. She likes to run with her German Shepherd, tend to her indoor jungle, spend time with her family watching movies, and cheer on the Sooners.
