Professional Bio
Ruben Ramirez is a personal injury trial attorney at Loncar Lyon Jenkins, based in the Rio Grande Valley. Born in Edinburg and raised by his father and grandmother, he draws strength from his South Texas roots. Moreover, he brings values of integrity, hard work, and patriotism to every case. After serving in combat, he now serves clients with unwavering dedication and strategic legal acumen.
Military & Teaching Background
Ruben enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Afghanistan. As a result of his leadership, he earned a battlefield promotion and the Bronze Star Medal. Following his military service, he became a science teacher—teaching chemistry and physics in his hometown. These experiences gave him discipline, empathy, and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Legal Career & Insurance Insight
After teaching, Ruben earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. Before joining Loncar Lyon Jenkins, he excelled as a trial attorney for a major auto insurance company. Notably, he never lost a trial during that time. Because of this background, Ruben understands how insurers view cases—and he uses that insight to benefit clients.
