William “Bill” Hymes serves as General Counsel and CEO at Loncar Lyon Jenkins in Dallas. Born in Nashville and raised across the South, he combines broad life perspective with a razor-sharp legal mind. After earning his J.D. and joining the firm in 2000, he built a powerful reputation advocating for injury victims. Today, Bill brings over two decades of courtroom experience and strategic leadership to every case.
Education & Early Career
Bill graduated from Jesuit High School in Dallas before earning both a B.A. and M.A. in Psychology from The Citadel (1985). After college, he spent three years learning auto insurance industry practices as a Management Intern with GEICO. Later, he worked as an adjuster, paralegal, and legislative aide—gaining valuable insight into claims, negotiations, and legal strategy—before attending law school at night. He earned his J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2000.

Bill joined Loncar & Associates in 1993, became part of the founding team upon graduation in 2000, and helped build the firm’s courtroom reputation. As General Counsel, he oversees legal operations while remaining active in trial work. He handles complex cases involving auto, truck, motorcycle, catastrophic injuries, medical liability, product defects, and wrongful death.
